Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is:
WTF!Sam Bliss - Drums
Mike Bliss - Guitar, Vocals
Pat Moriarty - Bass, Vocals

About the Band:
After months of badgering, Mike finally got Pat to come over and jam one cold winter weekend afternoon in January, but it didn’t take long for them to realize that musically, they were freakishly on the same page.  After a couple of jam sessions, they agreed that it would be a waste not to get a real band together and try to make some great music.  They didn’t have to look far to find the person who would become the drummer, Mike’s own son, Sam.  Once Mike showed Pat a video of Sam in a music store drumming contest, it was a no-brainer.  When Sam jammed with the group, the fit and the vibe was undeniable, and the band was officially born.  Originally under the moniker “Lords of Transition” until a better name surfaced, the group built its continuously growing repertoire during soulful weekend jams.  Once the name Whiskey Tango Foxtrot came up during their frequent e-mail brainstorming sessions, there was no denying the new identity, and WTF became the new moniker!

The band prides itself on playing music that most bands either won’t or can’t play.  We love the funky, progressive styles of many bands, and embrace the challenge and skill that comes with playing more than just a 3-chord, worn-out cover song.  Our standing rule: “No F’n Poison!”  When you come and see WTF, expect great funky rock that you won’t hear just anywhere-- and very likely songs you’ve never heard before and can’t wait to hear again!  Oh, and have we mentioned we bust out some original music too?  We refuse to be “just another band”.  We aren’t going to play a night of stale rock covers that all the other bands play.  So... if you’re wanting something that grabs you by the boo-boo and is just a little something different, then WTF wants YOU!
